"My lord... We were summoned as you were, but told to intercept and escort you en route. The Master has summoned all members of the Right Hand of Altus Novem to Cheydinhal. We know not why..."

The two looked at each other for a moment... Having ridden with them a bit Octavian could now see they were scarcely in their early twenties, if that...

"I am Damiani, and this is Lucinda..." he said, motioning to the female rider on Octavian's other side. She grinned and nodded to Octavian.

"We are at your disposal... Have you met the other member of the Right hand? You are the first other member of Altus Novem we have ever seen... And, if I may say, it is an honor to meet you... The Master himself has spoken highly of your power and potential..."

The three continued to ride, Cheydinhal was now within sight...

"Ah, I see." Aa'nu was uneasy that others would be involved, but she trusted in her elder's judgement and experience.

At the inn, she sat studying her surroundings and familiarizing herself with the mannerisms of the townsfolk. When Kahlareesa made her observation about the stone, Aa'nu merely nodded. After their meals were ordered and her superior asked about her past, she sat for some time with a meditative demeanor.

Following the delivery of their dinners, she replied, "I do not know whether you remember but we have met previous to this, many years ago. I have changed much in the years ensuing the encounter as I was but a small child then." Aa'nu paused to sip her wine, "I came to know the true faith because I have but breathed and lived the teachings for longer than I can recall. The conditions under which I came to be taken in I know not. Though, were it of any import, that knowledge would have been imparted to me. As it is, I am content in serving the Mother in all ways that I am able."

At this, she fell silent and went about consuming her food, not looking to Kahlareesa for a reaction - she had already gathered that her superior would give none and reserve all opinions for her own puzzlings.

A couple minutes later, DL found Nirano waiting by the broken part of the wall. Two RB guards were on sentry duty from inside the cell, but apparently the Baron had decided to not put anyone directly outside of the hole so that an intruder could be easily spotted and boxed in when they jumped in.

Thankfully they were out of earshot, so the two paid no attention to them and instead focused on the reunion.

"So you to, have been busy it seems..." Daedra Lord said.

"I already met one of your newer friends in the mansion, funny character that one. Anyways I'm not sure what reason you came here for, but by the hopes of Dagon I hope your either done or nearly done with it, because we need to get away from here. FAR, away."

The vampire lord was giving him an odd sort of puzzled half-frowning expression on his face. It finally made sense to the Dremora why he was acting so.

"Oh I see... maybe it's best that we sit down and quickly share our stories of the past couple weeks with each other. I'd rather tell mine to you now and wait for hearing yours until we're on the move agian if that's fine with you."

Nirano simply gave DL a nod and seated himself on a barrel. Daedra Lord took a seat by him and started his explanation.

"Hmmmm where to begin... Ah that's right, when we were separated by those damned human dogs. I left after they took your party down the river, made my way to Leyawiin hoping to meet up with you. The odd dunmer who I've finally learned is Turin, didn't follow me. Scamp's spit if I know where he went or what he's been up to, but I have been fortunate enough to not have had any other encounters with him.

So, I made it to Leyawiin later that night, but quickly got ushered out of there by the town guard. From there I had an ordeal that's too long to speak of right now while on my way here, but I will say that it's made me start to think that I somehow got afflicted by Sheogorath. When I came here, I spent the rest of the time trying to locate your party with no success, until just now that is.

During that time period, I received the same invite that your friend Ladaia did and have been waiting here since hoping that this would bring you along, as it seems to have done. About the girl, She's with him right now talking in his office I think, family moment it seems. heh hehe. her presences sorta unerves me actually, I can't help but think there's something wrong about her."

Daedra Lord paused for a moment again, noticing that the frown on Nirano's face was getting replaced by extra puzzlement.

"You look like you're only getting more puzzled Nirano... Oh I see, now you're wondering how I've pieced so many things together that I shouldn't know about. The Baron's been telling me many things I didn't have a clue about when I blindly walked into your adventure. Dunno if they're true or not, but you can brush me up on that later if you wish. Like I said though, we need to leave when we can. You already know that I've got your back with whatever you came here to do ,so please, tell me what I can do to help. The sooner we leave Corinth, the better.

Nirano's puzzled face finally lifted and a devilish grin replaced it.

"Your as comical as you were when I met you. I wonder what makes you so different from the rest of them..."

Nirano stood.

"I am here for Ladaia. I do not mind if she is having this moment with The Baron, but she will come with us when we leave Corinth, for she is hunted by Assassins, ones hired by The Black Hand itself. She is not safe alone, especially when she is with The Baron, and so it is that we must take her and leave Corinth and continue on our most important journey. To the Summerset Isles."

Nirano fingered his leathered silver blade.

"If you wish, you can aid me. I cannot be spotted inside The Baron's abode, yet you seem to have become most trusted. You must find a way to get Ladaia outside, so we can take her away before harm befalls her. She is...special to our group and we need her."

Kahlareesa lay down her fork and reached out to Aa'nu's face, taking her chin and turning it from side to side...

"Yes... yes I remember now... I was but a young priestess finding my way in the faith as you are now..."

She returned to her food...

"You have grown quite beautiful, young apprentice... Let us hope your skills for subterfuge are an equal to your physical charms..."

She looked up at Aa'nu again...

"Oh... and these others... They are but a temporary aid to gain you Malilkai's trust. They will die at his hand when he saves you... And they are glad to do so for the Mother..."

"Now then..." she continued, taking a sip of wine, "anything you might be carrying that an innocent young girl would not I recommend you leave with me... You're hardly convincing with weapons hidden in every bit of your clothing... And as for the guardian stone, keep it well hidden. If he finds it your life is forfeit, and more importantly this mission..."

Twinblade had immediately stopped his Werewolf transformation, holstered his claymores behind his back and his longsword at his waist and immediately catched Nirano's scent as he followed it onto a big castle.

"Neat."

OOC: I believe it to be the 3 that ride toward Cheydinhall... Tongue sorry Cryo, just felt like pointing that out Tongue

IC:

Octavian nodded amiably to Damiani, a light smile on his face.

"You honor me with your words, Damiani. I am glad to meet new brothers and sisters. However, I am still quite confused on my purpose in this world, though I am sure the Master will enlighten all of us."

Gazing forward into the night, he saw the city dress itself before him.

"We have arrived..."

IC: Eean heard Nirano as he approached the two. "Nirano, wha-what are you doing here?!" he whispered, looking around for any guards. Nobody was around, so he calmed down. "Uh...hello..." he muttered. "I heard what you said, why would the Bla-Black Hand want Ladaia dead?"

Nirano's hand flew to his blade when he heard the new voice, but he stilled his reflexes when he realized it was Eean. He breathed a sigh of relief.

"I do not know why they want her dead Eean, but these Assassins will perform the kill with the utmost secrecy and perfection. We must safe Ladaia and leave as soon as possible."

Aa'nu was secretly pleased that Kahlareesa had remembered.

She looked up from her dinner, "All who are true to the Mother would give our lives in her service if she so required it. As for my weapons, I carry only my two daedric longswords. I will give them to you before we retire for the night. As for the stone, I shall wear it where he will not discover it."

With that, she went back to her dinner.

Methias forced a smile and spoke to the intimidating General before him...

"Wise and powerful General Saunier..." he started, obviously having rehearsed

"The Baron would like to congratulate you on your emancipation from the corrupt Empire and its overlords..."

He looked around for a moment and swallowed hard.

"He suggests... An alliance... Now that we are on the same side... The side that battles against the Paladin Malikai and his Imperial plague upon the land..."

OOC: Alright, I'm back.

IC: Simon looked curiously at the few diplomats. He took a slow and rather long sip of wine before inhaling deeply and finally responding.

"The Baron wishes to congratulate me on being kicked out of Cyrodiil forever? And being one of the most intimidated and corrupt general's of Tamriel? This must be a joke...the Baron and i have had a rather, distasteful, past. Let alone trying to make alliances would perhaps, discomfort the situation that now stands before us. The Baron, as well as i, are on our own...for the mean time that is."

The General then looked deeply into Methias' eyes. Perhaps this alliance would work out after all? he thought to himself.

"Tell the Baron, we'll remain neutral..."

"Sounds like the girl must've done something pretty serious that we don't know about. Because only that and her status as the Baron's daughter would be suitable reasons for being marked. But how could anybody send an assassin to kill Spielsdorf's child so soon, when even the Baron himself had only just learned of her true identity?"

"I do not know..."

Nirano responded quietly.

"But now is not the time. Eean you must go back inside and find some way to get Ladaia outside over here without her being spotted. DL, you must be the one who must distract The Baron while we make our escape. Once we're gone, join us in the forests over there. We will find you when you arrive."

Nirano said, pointing out into the distance.

"I will wait out here and make sure we have no...pests."

Eean nodded, looked around nervously once more, and made his way back inside. He was ready to do what he must to make sure no harm came to Ladaia.

As they approached the looming shadow of the city of Cheydinhall, Octavian turned his attention to his surroundings. The possibility of hostility was apparent to him.

"Would either of you happen to have a spare weapon, you could lend me. I was unfortunate to have had my own sword taken away from me by a fool of a man before I was shown the way."

He looked to his escorts for an answer.
