Ode to Modern Warfare 2(Sarcasm)

Let me start by saying I really like Modern Warfare 2. It's pretty awesome. So I don't enjoy tearing down a game I really like, but it has to be one of the most frustrating multiplayer builds out there. There are some really cool things, but I have some things that really take away.

1.Noob Tube

Don't get rid of it. Please nerf it. It's a legitimate weapon, but take the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 approach by not making it such a deadly weapon.

2.Shotguns

OVERPOWERED! It's frustrating to have a kill streak ended by a person carrying Akimbo Rangers with FMJ.

3.The lack of objective players

Here's one thing I can talk a bunch about. Objective-wise players who complete objectives aren't rewarded enough. There needs to be more of an incentive to play the correct game type. Some of the time it degrades to nothing more than the teams trying to get tactical nukes, which should not be in objective games. Why do you get to end an objective game by getting a large number of kills?

4. The lack of good game types

How about something interesting? Halo has infection and Battlefield has rush, Modern Warfare 2 can come up with something more interesting than Search and Destroy or Domination.

I would write more, but I'm pretty mad. I want to end by saying I remembered a time when there were memorable multiplayer experiences. When it was just about playing and not about what rank you were or what weapon you unlocked. Unlocks are great, but it turns the game into a job. Just remember, this is from somebody who likes the game. Feel free to leave comments and opinions, or even add to the list if you wish.

Camping. I can't stand campers. Now, I understand lingering in a spot for a few minutes if it is a high kill zone is legit. However, spending half the match climbing up to a point with a sniper rifle where you can slaughter everyone but not be taken out yourself is just idiotic.

The small size of the maps and limitations on the amount of players. That's another thing that gets me. Look at BC2. You get HUGE maps with a multitude of vehicles and areas which can be shaped by play style. Also, it's very true to what I think the FPS experience should be. In MW2 an airstrike shouldn't leave a village untouched. I like the realistic destructibility of the environment in Battlefield. I think that that should've been incorporated in MW2.
